Emergency Medical Technician
The EMT Basic Training course will prepare you for a career as an emergency medical technician (EMT). You will learn life support, basic patient care, and emergency response methods. Upon successful completion of the class, you will earn your EMT certification.
Requirements for Enrollment In order to enroll in this class you:
Must have an official high school diploma or equivalent transcript (must be at least 17 on or before the official end date of class), or official college transcript or Accuplacer Next Generation Reading test and score at least a 237 or higher.
Must a valid driver's license or state-issued photo ID.
Must provide copy of most recent immunization records (Hep Bx3; MMR x2; Varicell x2; TDAP (within the last 10 years); tuberculosis (TB) skin test or TB gold test within the last 12 months; COVID and flu will depend on clinical location).
