EUS-255: Electric Utility Troubleshooting

This course introduces a wide variety of techniques to troubleshoot electric utility substation and generating plant power system equipment. Topics include testing and troubleshooting high and medium voltage power circuit breakers, three phase high voltage power transformers, voltage regulators and circuit switchers. Upon completion, students should be able to use specialized test equipment used by utility substation and generating plants.
